asp.net login

How do I login asp.net with login,password textbox where the logins,passwords are store in weboconfig.

I forget how you store passwords/logins in webconfig.

It is just a simple example I am doing as usually I use a databse.

under appsettings, u can give

            <add key="password" value="ur Pass"/>
            <add key="login" value="Ur Login"/>

and in code u can access by using
string password = System.Configuration.ConfigurationManager.AppSettings("password").ToString();
string login = System.Configuration.ConfigurationManager.AppSettings("login").ToString();

as u know already, storing login info is not recommended though..but u can encrypt them
