Can a swf-movie register its own upload-date

I would like to set a date-limit for a swf, based on its first use.
Is it possible for the swf-movie to register the file-upload date of itself - the date the swf-file was uploaded to the server.

So what you want is to restrict the view of the swf based on when it is first accessed - right?
Then try using flash cookies which is Shared Objects. Please remember Shared Object is client side and has nothing to do if the user access the same from another PC.

So if you want to track that too, then you have to do some backend programming as well which will save the data based on first time usage for that user.
