SQL Server 2008 Standard Edition for Small Business install

Hi all,

Wondering if you can help me.

I have recently purchased a copy of the above with 5 CAL's, I have installed a Windows Server 2008 Standard edition server on our domain to install it on. So during the install when it does the System Configuration Check's it fails’s on Operating System Supported for Edition.

I have tried calling Microsoft for help and they said to help me I would need to pay £300 for support (as you can probably guess I told them to stick it where the sun doesn't shine:))

I have tried looking for a solution online but with no success, anyone got any ideas on what the problem might be?

Thanks in advance.

OK so reading more in to it, you can only have up to 75 devices and users, we have more then that.

So now going with Microsoft Volume.
