What Joomla extension use for a renting apartments web

Dear expert:

I have developed some Joomla+virtuemart web sites for eshopping.

Actually  I have to develop a site for apartment rentings. Is it possible to adapt virtuemart for this ? I think virtuemart is only for sell but not for rental. So which component should I use ?

Thank you.

The problem is I need a special payment method. Virtuemart has a lot of third-party payment methods.

what methods do that use? I would be very careful and make sure they are PCI-compliant.

In light on the sony fisaco, please be sure you have compliance. make sure whatever software you use outsources it and does not have it built in. Please contact your processor to make sure what software you can plug in and if they would be able to assist you.

Please also ensure you do not process the data yourself of have it reside anywhere on your servers, becuase you will need to be audited for PCI compliance.

What does it mean to be "Always On"?

Is your cloud always on? With an Always On cloud you won't have to worry about downtime for maintenance or software application code updates, ensuring that your bottom line isn't affected.

here are a few others and I will be providing a link also to the main real estate plugins site for joomla:

Joomla Estate Agency (JEA)

IProperty

here's the main real estate plugins section and you would need to consult your payment processor for more help:

Yes, I know that. In fact, I have purchased realtyna RPL, which looks more functinal than JA or IProperty. However, it doesn't have payment integration for rentals, just for agents membership.

They offer custom development but they are unaffordable for me ($50/hour).

what Joomla apps have you tried then so we can sort this out?

this one is for mostly hotel booking, however it is one of the only ones I've seen that clearly mentions the payment processing:
http://www.jomres.net/

Each property manages his property via the frontend, removing the need to give them access to sensitive areas of your site. Each property has their own payment configuration area for gateways like Paypal, or you can choose to override that option and get all payments sent to yourself.
