Outlook 2011 Delegate performance issues

Hi

We're having some issues since moving from Exchange 2003 and Outlook 2003 to Exchange 2010 and Outlook 2011. If our Personal Assistants have more than two delegates setup performance really drags. Has anybody else experienced this issue or does anyone have any thoughts?
We have had to keep our Personal Assistants using Outlook 2003 via VMWare.

Thanks,
Jeff

Outlook 2011? Are you guys using MACs?

Anything after Outlook 2003, the only issues with Outlook running really slow can often be attributed to Mapped Drives on the users PC that are not connected or broken shortcuts or links in the users My Documents folder.

There are some other things you can check but they are OS specific
Can you verify what OS is being used.

For both OS though, sometimes cached exchange mode slows outlook but only until caching is finished

Hi apache

Yes, we're running Outlook 2011. We recently moved the entire office across to the Mac environment. Previously it had just been the Studio.
We're using a mix of OS X. Generally 10.6.4 up.

Caching has finished on these users machines. To be honest we've not tried again since 14.1.0 was released for Office 2011 but I can't see any fixes offered for either problem.

One party did advise we increase the RAM on the Exchange server from 8Gb to 20Gb - I believe Outlook 2011 talks to the server in a different way from Outlook 2003 and is perhaps more processor intensive at the server end.

We haven't done this yet as we need to get some more RAM for our virtual environment.

Thanks,
Jeff

Did any of these users have pre-existing delegates added from the last OS?
Might try removing all their delegates in 2003.
Then Open outlook 2011 and re-add them from the MAC
See if it helps...
