Exchange Server 2007

Dear Experts,

i am having Exchange 2007 inntalled on Win 2008 OS. i am planning to add one more exchange as H/A server.

my current exchange is installed on a blade server with high specifucation, i have one hp server HPDL380G6 i want to use hp server as H/A server. both server located in same LAN and same location.

my requirment is in case of primary server down, H/A server should be able to responed clients in mimimal downtime. i am not expert of exchange could any expert suggest me something good?

Exchange 2007 has many HA solution, but it depends on the role that is installe don your server.
Please let us know the roles running on this server.

current server is a single stand alone server and all roles are installed on it, Mailbox, CAS, Hub transpoprt.
i would suggest to run the CAS and HT on one server and you can go for CCR cluster for mailbox server role.
You can go for NLB cluster for CAS nd HT server for HA ....

Dear Experts,

i will not be able to answer you for next 2 days, soory for my late replay in adnvance.
As you already have a mailbox role you can't add the existing to a ccr cluster. I
nstaed you need to Install and configure the CCR cluster and move all mailboxes to the cluster - you can't add your existing server to the cluster because the cluster needs to be configured before exchange 2007 is installed.

how about a third party replication software? is there any free replication software availible ??
