Exchange 2007 has many HA solution, but it depends on the role that is installe don your server.
Please let us know the roles running on this server.

Refer the belpw link for more information..

current server is a single stand alone server and all roles are installed on it, Mailbox, CAS, Hub transpoprt.

Simplify Active Directory Administration

Administration of Active Directory does not have to be hard.  Too often what should be a simple task is made more difficult than it needs to be.The solution?  Hyena from SystemTools Software.  With ease-of-use as well as powerful importing and bulk updating capabilities.

i would suggest to run the CAS and HT on one server and you can go for CCR cluster for mailbox server role.
You can go for NLB cluster for CAS nd HT server for HA ....

find the link below for CCR configuration.

As you already have a mailbox role you can't add the existing to a ccr cluster. I
nstaed you need to Install and configure the CCR cluster and move all mailboxes to the cluster - you can't add your existing server to the cluster because the cluster needs to be configured before exchange 2007 is installed.

hence the downtime would only be while moving the mailboxes
