Any suggestions how not to FAP out with Wildblue?

Any suggestions to not FAP out (Fair Access Policy) out with Wildblue? I'm in 56K hell for a month because I went over my limit.  For those of you not using satellite inernet, it's not all you can eat like land based Internet. At 56K you can't do anything except get email. I'm posting this from work..

I think I found the solution. Too much of myalloted bandwidth goes to patching windows and getting anti-virus update. Solution Lunix....Long term solutuion 4G. Getting that as soon as it's available in my area.

So I 'm finally getting out of FAP. Here's the final spanking I get from the company I pay $80+ a month. UFB. Seriously, anybody who has any choice should consider any other alternative to Wildblue. Other satellite companies don't cut you off, they just charge more. That's normal. Wilblue is run by a bunch a losers that can't figure out a customer rather be charged more than cut off.

4G cellular wireless is supposed to be in my neck of the woods in under a year I CAN'T WAIT!

saltilate internet like  wildblue.

Dear WildBlue Customer,

Your WildBlue account has been returned to normal speeds after having been slowed down due to a Fair Access Policy (FAP) violation.  WildBlue’s FAP can be viewed at this site.

Please monitor your usage in order to enjoy your expected speeds going forward.  As you know, we measure your usage looking at the cumulative previous 30 days – you can monitor this usage by following the steps outlined at this site.

Please note that repeated FAP offenses will result in the slowing of services and restriction of access (to email and web services).

If you have any questions, please visit the help section of our website or call WildBlue Customer Care at 1-888-278-6858.

Thank you,

WildBlue

P.S. If you find your data needs per month are higher than your allowable FAP Usage Threshold, please consider upgrading your WildBlue package by calling WildBlue at 1-888-278-6858.  (I have the most they offer, what BS)

Translated… run, don't  wallk away from Wildblue

A Wildblue employee's point of view http://wildbluesucks.info/2010/07/27/former-wildblue-tech-support-agent/

As much as dislike Wildblue I have to give them credit for one thing.  They know Wildblue customers come to them only for one reason.

Just one. THERE IS NO OTHER CHOICE!

Their business model should be clearly base on that. I just wish they were more honest. It would actually help both the company and the clients. Less staff to say "I'm sorry...' and less customers saying we are not getting what we payed for.

Here's my 'IVR' tag line if I was running Wildblue  ….

"Thanks for calling Wildblue! We would like to explain are many great offerings but first we have one question. Do you have ANY other option greater than 56K phone dialup in your area? If so hang up and call them, if not your ours Bi#@h.
