Exchange 2007 Information Store will not start

Re-booted our server last night, nothing appeared to be out of the ordinary. Come in to the office this morning to find that the Exchange Information Store is not loading, showing 2 related errors in the Event Viewer.

In the application logs:

Application Error, EventID 1000
Faulting application store.exe, version 8.1.399.0, time stamp 0x4a54554b, faulting module ntdll.dll, version 6.0.6002.18327, time stamp 0x4cb74dd3, exception code 0xc0000374, fault offset 0x00000000000aca57, process id 0x1960, application start time 0x01cc0b3fb0822f0b.

In the System logs:

Service Control Manager Eventlog Provider, Event ID 7034
The Microsoft Exchange Information Store service terminated unexpectedly.  It has done this 6 time(s).

I have repaired and defragged the mailbox database using eseutil, but as I am unable to start the information store I cannot use the isinteg tool.

Ok, continuing to troubleshoot, I found a portion of AVG (which should have uninstalled some time ago) was in fact still hanging around. Cleared it off, Information Store started right up.
