Internet Exploter 8 holding page setup settings

Hi there,

I have had a customer start using an online web system which they access through Internet Explorer v7 and v8.
Basically they want to print to a printer in A5 and this is currently all setup and works fine but only if you change the page setup in internet explorer to A5 by default it's set to letter.
And every time it's changed to stays on A5 only until Internet explorer is closed down then next time it's open up again it's back to letter. Anyone one of an override to force it to use the A5 size within page setup without having to change it every time back ??

Any help would be much appreicated many thanks.

It is the same with every application in the world. including Word, Acrobat, openoffice, notepad, and you name it.
To save paper we run a PDF printer as default, if user rmembers what he printed and still needs it when watching the desktop trees are going to be cut.

Thanks for your comments turns out we just had to update the printer drivers and for some reason the newer printer drive held the settings as defined in the printer properties and stopped the Internet Explorer override
