It's been a while but I believe this is the SYSMAN database user password.

slightwv (䄆 Netminder) Commented:
I went out to verify that and it appears it is a separate password for the repository key itself set up at the time the key was generated.

If you do not know the old password, you might be out of luck.

Here's the doc:
http://download.oracle.com/docs/cd/B16240_01/doc/em.102/e10954/security2.htm#BABJGGIG

WARNING:
If the emkey.ora file is lost or corrupted, all the encrypted data in the Management Repository becomes unusable. Maintain a backup copy of this file on another system.

If you don't have a backup, or cannot remember the password for the original key, you will likely have to use option 2 above:  2) If emkey.ora is not available from backup, run F:\Oracle_11g/bin/emca with -
repos create option.

no its not question plz.....

i am in the oem itsself..only the listerner is not working....

slightwv (䄆 Netminder) Commented:
OEM is just a front end to a lot of behind the scenes actions.  Password protecting the listener and how to un-protect it is outside OEM.

This should be a new question on how to remove password protection from a listener.
