The only thing I can recomend would be to beef up what ever type of connection between point A &amp;&nbsp;point B for your VPN. Inside your LAN there are a few things you could try such as making sure the NICs &amp;&nbsp;the switch ports are set to 100/full duplex.

SMB Performance Enhancements / WIndows Server 2003
