Telnet to Exchange 2010 not working

I'm having problems using Telnet on port 25 through a SonicWall TZ100 to connect to a 2010 Exchange Server on SBS 2011 HyperV virtualized on Core Server 2008 R2. Any ideas?

Can you telnet from the Exchange server itself to port 25?

ASKER

Sorry, should have said that telnet from the LAN works fine.  Culprit appears to be the Sonicwall.
do you have a NAT setup? Are you using a one to tone NAT or port redirection?
It's the standard Sonicwall NAT policy for email:  port 25 is directed to the address object of the Exchange server

What do the logs show?  If you don't show any logs from the source IP then it may not even be getting there
Bingo.  Just checked, ISP recently disabled traffic on port 25 for residential accounts due to spam concerns.  Thanks for your insight.
typical.  Setup VPN and use VPN to connect to the network and then you can do anything you need.
