How do I disable Internet email for specified users on a Windows 2008 SBS.

I have setup users with both internal and external email on my windows 2008 SBS. I have  a need to disable only internet email for certain users. I still want them to have internal email but no internet email. Please help.

Hi, Need to have some more clarity.. Are you having a hosted exchange server in SBS with all internet mails routed through the public ip or your SBS server retrieve e-mail from external POP3 mailboxes through a PoP3 Connector.

If it with POP3 Connector, you can
Goto Windows SBS Console -> Network -> Connectivity -> Windows SBS POP3 Connector and disable the user to download the mail from the external pop3 mailbox

If it is directly delivering to exchange, go through the below link to understand how we can block users from sending and receiving external emails.

also In order for user to have OWA access they must be member of Account Operators. If you remove them from group they should lose ability to access their OWA account.
