Domain admin password change

I'm looking for a tool that will show where domain admin credetials are being used.
I need to change my domain admin password but want to do damage limitation by knowing where the creditals are being used before making the change.

does anybody know the best practice for doing this

    This is not a trivial question.

    If no services are running with this account, no problemas must be found. Else, if a service, application or whatever are running with this credentials, on next start will fail.
    I think that better is create specific accounts to run services that may be running as administrator, with specific permissions.

    Make a list with this services before start.
