Can someone confirm if its possible to have an X86 apps tier hosting ebusiness 12 (linux) with a HP-UX Itanium backend hosting the database.<br />
<br />
We would like to move the apps tier off itanium.<br />
<br />
I believe though that due to oracles patching policy\mechanism it is expected that both the apps tier and database tier are on the same architecture.<br />
<br />
Can it be done and is the config supported?<br />
