Exchange 2007 to Exchange 2010 with Forefront UAG Migration

Is it complicated to migrate an Exchange 2007 setup with all roles installed and nothing protecting it on the edge to a 2 Server setup (1 CAS/1 MB,HT) with Forefront UAG while still keeping our current https://webmail.domain.com site and certificates? Or would it be easier to do a new website with new ssl certs?

You would need to advise on the full plan/curernt setup to answer this fully.

Is UAG already installed and operational or is this a new install you are planning? If new, I guess you are looking at DirectAccess etc and will need new certs anyway for the autodiscover services.

Sorry for the lack of details, but our current Exchange setup is literally just 2 vms. 1 primary with hub, cas, and mb roles installed. 1 SCR box offsite. No forefront or ISA installed. The uag would be new as well. The only thing we were planning on doing with it for now was publishing owa, but obvious direct access and sharepoint would be in the future. New owa certs would be a possibility, but was just wondering if it's possible.

Deploying Exchange 2010 through UAg plus DA etc is certainly a supported scenario.

An interesting approach is outlined in Tom Shinder's TLG blogs (I guess you are NOT daft enough to attempt this without a plan and design).

Not exactly what I was looking for, but it was a pretty general question and was provided with good info
