Offsite Backup Solution for VMware environment

Hi experts,

I am looking for a solid backup solution which can bring all my data offsite somewhere. I am currently evaluating VEEAM Backup and Replication. (which is great!!) I search looking for a way to bring that data offsite. I don't have another DR site to replicate to, so I was wondering has anyone come across any services that allows you to backup and restore data from. Maybe a cloud service or one that includes an appliance.

thanks in advance for any responses!

    Accepted Solution

We use Iron Mountain and Gigasoft Data Backup

    Iron Mountain

    Gigasoft Data Backup

The Gigadatabackup solution, has a small client, you can install on as many servers as you like, secure login is performed to their site, and it backups the data over the internet securely.

If you first dataset is very large, Gigasoft will allow you to send them the data on tape, removal storage to mount, so the incrtementals are quick.

We also use Cloudswitch which is an applicance that replicates/copies or moves your Virtual Machines to the Cloud e.g. Amazon EC2 etc

Gigasoft also supports SQL and other databases directly, sign up for a trial with Gigasoftdatabackup and Cloudswitch.
