yes, it is only with one specific user. &nbsp;However, it happens with ANY Excel attachments that are opened from within Outlook.

Also clear out the Outlook temp folder where it stores attachments as they are opened. &nbsp;The location depends on your version of Windows and your version of Office.

I have a user that is able to open Excel attachments from within Outlook. &nbsp;The file will open correctly, but will automatically close after about 5 seconds.<br />

This problem does not happen if the user has his Excel program already open and running in his task bar. &nbsp;To get by this, he needs to open Excel first, and THEN he can open Excel attachments without them automatically closing.<br />
