Website form submissions sent via tls and not smtp

I've got a standard formmail form on my website. The form results need to be emailed via TLS and not smtp -any ideas how to do that? I'm on a verio apache vps.

Well, email will use SMTP.  TLS is an encryption protocol and doesn't send emails.  SMTP sends email.  You can send email using an additional layer of security (secured emails) that would run on top of SMTP--just make the communication encrypted.
