backup exec with library - job queued, insert overwritable media

Backup Exec 2010 on Server 2008 R2.  IBm TS3100 library (single LTO5 drive).

I have a backup policy to backup some test data, then export the media.  This creates 2 jobs - one for the backup and a linked job to export the media.

When I run the backup job, it keeps going to Queued, and I get an alert to "Please insert overwritable media into the robotic library using the import command."

However, the Slot that I am running the job from already has 5 tapes inserted.  If I OK the alert, the job goes back to Queued and the alert comes back.

I don't see a way to add a template to the policy that will Import the media before the backup.

Check the retention on the tapes that are in the slots. If not sure just move the tapes into scratch media set and try again.

The media set did indeed have overwrite protection for 23 hours.  Set it to 0 hours for my testing.  Stupid oversight on my part.  THANKS!
