Book Readers

Not really sure where to start on this one. I'm wanting a book reader that I can use with my iPad2 (work device), Android phone and Android Tablet. Having browser access wouldn't be a bad idea for if all else fails too.

I'd like to be able to: -
- Sync the books between the devices.
- Sync what page I'm up to between the devices.
- Enter comments and make notes as I read in the books that is available between all the devices, so not stored locally on the independent device.

A browser based reader could be good, all the devices can access a browser.
Kindle might work if it allows me to store books on my multiple devices.
What other options are there?

Looking for a variety of ideas and if comparisons or reviews have been done, links to those would be great.

Thanks

Yeah just downloaded it and tried it on multiple devices, all good except it doesn't sync comments and bookmarks between devices, bit of a show stopper for me as I like to be able to pick up where I left off from any device.

Hey RobMobility, looks like Google eBooks is just accessing books from a browser, which I specified as fine, but don't think I can add my own comments and highlights and have them on any device.

Really hoping for something with an app for iPad and Android, PC doesn't matter too much, I have an Android phone and an iPad2.

Oh good, I looked but couldn't find an app in the Android market place.
That link doesn't seem to work, could you send me another.
Thanks

Very strange, it won't install, have tried a number of different ways on both my HTC Desire and Samsung Galaxy Tablet.
Will try on Samsung Galaxy phone and iPad later on...

Ah, worked it out, didn't think it would be country specific (see below). Any more ideas for someone in Australia? If not, I'm probably going to the US in September and could download it then, but that doesn't help me when I switch devices over. More and more reason to get access to a US proxy!

"Google eBooks is available in the United States and is compatible with phones and tablets running Android 2.1 (Eclair) or later and which feature the Android Market."

AND

"Google eBooks for Android is currently not available in your country"

Really want to try Google Books, but even with http://www.witopia.net/index.php/products/ using their SSL/PPTP combo I can't download it.
