:Incorrect MFC DLL version installed on system, minimum requirements is MFC SP4 DLLs"

not sure what happened. I could not get a restore beause there is no one in 2000.

The wireless modem does not seem to connect too.

Use the above, to find out what process owns that message box. There is a little crosshairs at the top, that you can drag onto another window, and the owning process will highlight. Then you know where you have to start to rectify....

That is nice utility program to tell what software each process belongs to.

But how do you link the message box showing with the process name causing it though?

"Incorrect MFC DLL version installed on system, minimum requirements is MFC SP4 DLLs""

I have no idea what app would throw this, just by looking at it. Once you klnow what it is.... Service? Uneeded application? Service is corrupted? Part of a Driver? They all have unique methods to troubleshoot....

Plus, you have to start somewhere....
