How to save Docm to Docx

I have been working on a docm template which opens a vb form for the user to fill out.
After they do so and want to save the form, save as also defaults to docm.  I would rather the users save to docx since that is the standard but do not want to train them to change the type every time.  What is the easiest way program the default save as setting to docx?

Thank You!

Thank you for your comment but I believe you misunderstood my question.  Please allow me to rephrase.

Let's say you create a Word Template for some purpose in a business environment and store your businessform.docm file to a shared folder on your network or on sharepoint and mark it as read only.

Your user fills out the template and is ready to save the document to their my documents folder.

Your management prefers your users save all documents in the docx format, but when your users goes to Save As they have to remember to change the file type from docm to docx everytime.

Can this be automated?

Thanks Again.

It sounds as if the template is being opened as a document and modified, instead of being used as a template when a New document is being created - Office button, New, New from existing... That would be the first time. Subsequentially it will appear in the Recently Used Templates list.
