Here's the link to downloads for IE 8 (Version:8.0.6001.18702 Final)

If you run XP x86 click Mirror 3, for XP x64 it's Mirror 4 ;)
When in doubt, use Mirror 3, or right-click My Computer and look for Windows version info.

    Hope this helps!

    What's the problem? Pirated OS?
Either way - IE8 installer will download some updates from MS servers...

If you can't download it from Microsoft's website, I'm guessing you'd rather not download it from any other website either.  You don't have to go to a "website" to download and install it ... just use Windows Automatic Updates, install all updates presented - IE8 will be one of them.
