Pls check whether you have content indexing files(.CI extensions) in the cataloge folder and it is growing in size. Also check your application log for the event 9877 with errors 0x80043629
error 0x8007007e. If you see both, the only workaround is to have HUB and CAS installed on MBX server.

    Accepted Solution

After download and install Roll-up2 for Exchange 2010 SP1, everything is OK and search works properly onto OWA.

I have the same issue and rollup 2 is installed already. Anything else to check?
