Change company name field in office 2010
I have installed office 2010 and incorrectly enter my company name when I set it up. Now the company name appears in all my docs but it is wrong.
I know that I can change it by editing the registry, and I have done so problem fixed.
I also know that on the “File” tab, you can then select the “Info” command, then on the far right of the pane, at the bottom, there is a hyperlink/button that says "Show all properties". One of the extra properties displayed is Company. Just click on the field to edit the content. But that only seams to work for the doc you are working on, rather than all future docs.
Tthere is surly a clean way of making a chance from office it self

MS shoud update the fix it page to work windows 7 64 bit
ok .. best answer I have found is the following ..http://support.microsoft.com/kb/822005
It points to a MS fix it link that would be good.. Except it won’t run windows 7 64. But it has all the needed reg links.
Moral of the story, get your company name right 1st time.
