Micosoft Excel: Checking data in the rest of the row

Posted on 2011-05-07
Last Modified: 2012-05-11
I have users entering data into expense sheets.  My import looks for dates in column A and throws an error when there is no amount and a date entered.   I need some code that will check that the row is correctl formatted.  Has anyone done anything similar?

Any help appreciated. Richard

To insure that users always enter valid dates on column A, use Data Validation List and set it to Date so that it only accepts valid dates on that column.
