i need to create an application that invokes a stored procedure.
The stored proc synchronises two databases.  So my question is, should i give connectionstring of both databases that the stored proc use to synchronise or only the connectionstring of the db that the stored proc reside on in my vb code?

As you just have to call your stored procedure, you need just a connection to the database who has the stored procedure.

Here you have a link explaining how to call to a stored procudure from VB6:

    Hope it helps.
