Sound Card 6.1 to stereo

i have a 7.1 channel (6 3.5mm jacks) audio card on my carputer. I only want stereo, but I want the same signal out two 3.5mm jacks so i can pump one to the front speakers and 1 to the rear. Can't work out how to do it. should be soo simple.
Any suggestions?

Start with the software for the card. Most of the ones I've seen have options for choosing if a plug is stereo or part of a 4, 4.1, 5.1, etc...

As far as the second part getting two of the same stereo outs, just get one working and put a y jack on it.
