CN50 & Adobe Flex 4

Hi Experts,

I'm exploring the possibilities of using Flex 4 for a web app that will receive user input and data from the barcode scanner on the Intermec CN50.

How can I receive the barcode data within a Flex app?  Is this handled by the OS and related drivers so I can simply have it input into a text field within the flex app?  Or is it done differently?  Any ideas?

Thanks,

HNM

Developer Resource Kits Downloads of Internec does not  include  support for FLEX
http://www.intermec.co.uk/products/devresourcekit/downloads.aspx

but you can try “Virtual Wedge”, that accepts barcode data from the scanner and generates key events to simulate that the data has come from the keybooard

Great thanks, I'll be testing it to see if it works.
