Email signature, when clicking 'reply' received text keeps appearing on right hand side of html signature

I have just has my email signature created by a graphic company and I have loaded it all up.  When I get an email and then click reply the text from the received message appears all the way down the right hand side of the html signature, it's a column about 1cm wide all the way down the right side.  Any help appreciated?

You normally see this kind of thing happen when tables are set to for instance "align=left". But that is not the case in your situation.

If you are on Outlook 2003 I suggest that you experiment with toggling the "Use MS Word as editor" on/off and see if it changes anything. If you are in fact using MS Word as editor you might have a normal.dot that sets tables as align=left automatically.

I have tested your signature on my test setup on Outlook 2003, 2007 and 2010 but I wasn't able to reproduce it in any way. Maybe we are inserting the signature differently?

I go to Start->Run and type: %appdata%\Microsoft and click OK. Then I go to the "Signatures" folder and and insert the text from above in a file named test.htm. After that I can select the signature in Outlook. Remember the extension must be htm and not html or anything else for that matter.

Looking forward to hearing from you.

One other thing is, if I choose the option for use word 2003 to edit messages then it all works but the actual html file graphics are all as boxes etc and not like normal artwork?

You must insert the signature source code you posted earlier in a file with the extension .htm. For instance signature.htm or test.htm. Then place it in the folder for your signatures which i described ealier.

The boxes appear instead of graphics probably because the link to the images are bit slow. When you send the email the recipient should see the images just fine.
