    Accepted Solution

if you are looking for old eventviewr logs, by default Microsoft windows is overwrting old logs. to increase and keep old logs, right click on the log folder (i.e Applications), select properties and increase file size and select option to archive and not over-write old logs.

But this option need a high size on the hard-drive and continuous monitoring for log files and delete old and unwanted files.
