Hi,

we lost a load of data from our public folders, unfort we did not have a full backup. It seemed to have an age limit applied by mistake. Is there any other way of retrieving this data as it removed automatically

thanks

Normally PFAdmin shows deleted items folder but that depends on your deleted settings on database. If you have backup than you can easily recover from it else consider it as gone.

Else you need to use third party (Forsensic) tool for recovering deleted items from disk.

since you are saying public folder got deleted 14 days ago and threshold set is 50 then it should be available in deleted item in PFADMIN...check it one more time. Select the public folder in PFADMIN, then do right click and click show deleted folder.
