Sharepoint 2010 Management Shell wont run

Whenever I try and run as adminstrator on my SHarePoint Management shell I get an error that says "the local farm is not accessible. CMDlets with FeatureDependecyID are not registered. I have tried to add the current logged i  suer as local admin and farm admin but it still doesnt work.
