Asp.net masked textbox extender-chrome

I have a Asp.net masked textbox extender in my page and backspace and delete button does not work in chrome.
If I right and delete it works but that is not practical. Can someone please help me how to fix this or if there is a workaround for this?

AjaxControlToolkit doesn't support this browser fully so far, because the JavaScript engine of each browser is different so that the new JavaScript engine isn't accepted by AjaxControlToolkit.

Yes I know. My question is is there a workaround for this?

of course there is workaround.
As of now for sure, ajaxtoolkit is not supported by latest javascript engines and latest javascript engines are not capable of executing old javascript (implemented in ajax toolkit).

So you can go with jquery.

see these links. this may help you:

http://plugins.jquery.com/plugin-tags/mask

http://plugins.jquery.com/project/inputmask

Or you can go with simple javascript:
