I have a very strange occurance, we set up a new Win 2008 IIS server and started to move over programs.  the issue we are having is when it come sto loading some datatables in our project.  I can run the sql query and it works for every person I run the query on the page.  but when I do a table coutn to make sure something is there sometimes the rcord is there and sometimes it is absent.  But for everyrecord I can find in the db, but its like it does not load into the table, some do some do not.  If i push it back to my 2003 web server it all works just fine.  So I am assuming it has to do with the Win 2008 iis server and something is not set up correctly.

could be firewalls web.configs etc.  Would recommend installing sql client on the new IIS server for now to see if you can see all records from SQL only.  Will isolate whether it's ASP.Net or something else causing the issue.

Also try switching from integrated pipes to classic in your App pool Configuration.  (In the 2008 box IIS)

found out the problem was the bin folder, over a network share sometimes it copies good and sometimes it does not copy so good.  Once we got on a server and copied server to server it worked just fine.
