Youtube caching doesn't work in Chrome and FF?

They say that Youtube now uses the cache of the browsers but it seems not to work for me.
I loaded a video until the entire buffer bar became, then I pressed F5 and it started again to slowly  load/bufferize from Internet. Tried with last version of Chrome and Firefox. What's wrong?

Goto your browser and type on address bar

about:config

not you can change values for

network.buffer.cache.count

and

network.buffer.cache.size

Check for example this link

http://www.mail-archive.com/list@jaxlug.org/msg00703.html

You  can also search on the Google otherr option your key is "network.buffer.cache.size"
