I am currently using Veeam Back up and Replication to backup my VM's but I have one WIndows 2008 Domain Controller Server that needs to back up to a remote location.  There is no Exchange associated with this Server so I am looking for a free or cheap backup that does deduplication and allows remote backup and version control.
Thanks

I am sure there are some free/cheap options out there but I believe that if a companies data is important to them it is worth spending the money for a proven solution that is supported and or backed by the manufacturer. The biggest issue with offsite replicated storage is that there really is a need for a sufficient amount of bandwidth to replicate these backups in a timely manner. Have you thought of just trying to use MS server 2008 bare metal backups directly to a large capacity USB Drive. Server 2008 is a new beast when it comes to recovering from failures. I would stick to the tried and true backup tools out there.

I would look at Iron Mountain Online Backup http://www.ironmountain.com/online-backup/online-backup.html they are a well established company. The large company I work for relies on Iron Mountain for a lot of their services.

You could look at this: http://googledocs.blogspot.com/2010/01/upload-and-store-your-files-in-cloud.html
or Windows Live SkyDrive allows for 25GB of storage

I did not get any suggestions that were helpful to my situation.
There are many paid solutions and cloud provideers but I wanted to perform at my site.
