Exchange DB recovery and Email extraction

I have to restore a whole pile of mailboxes for a customer from vairous points in over the last 6 years from tape.  I have been able to recover the flat EDB file, and looking to use and application called Kernal for Exchange from Nucleus Technology.

Has anybody used this tool in the past and is it any good, just want to make sure I am getting the right software before spending USD$500

I have used the tool recently and a co-worker used it in the past. It will do what it said, however I am not fully confident in it because when we did our recovery we ended up with less Emails than there should have been per mailbox.

With that said, you might want to contact them and verify you could return if it does not work to your expectations. It does work, I can vouch for that at least.

Hmm, ok.  The problem is that the recovery of emails is for a legal case, so I need to be sure that I am getting everything that I possibly can.  Thanks, can try talking to them
