Default Printer Keeps Changing

My Win XP computer is having a printing problem.

It keeps changing the default printer to Web Ex Document Loader.

I keep changing it back to my Dell printer and even tried a shut down  However,

my default printer keeps changing back to Web Ex.  It is driving me crazy.  Any ideas?

try shutting off the port through the properties menu.

You did set another printer as default right? If not click start and go to printers, right click the printer you would like to use and choose set as default. Let me know if you've done this already.

I have done this already,

I also have set my Konica as default.

Should I delete my Web-ex?

If you don't need the  Web-ex printer, then delete it by all means. However, if you want to keep it, I would just do the following.

set the printer you want as the default
delete the web-ex printer.
re-install the web-ex printer, making sure to select "NO" when asked to make it the default printer.

By selecting another printer as default before deleting the web-ex, you ensure that all the drivers are fully unloaded from the system first.

good luck
