Elastic Load Balancer not working when there are 2 instances. But works with one instance

Hi Experts please help.

I have setup a ELB for 2 instances. Amazon has confirmed that my settings on ELB is fine. But when there are 2 instances my applications login page comes up but cannot login.

I checked by adding one instance after the other individually, it works normally.

What is that not allowing through ELB when 2 instances are there?
Any additional settings to be done?

Yes i checked there and enabled the ELB coockies to 60 sec. Now i can login to application but some of the features like pdf generation and mails are not working once again which works where there is one server in ELB.

So it works well when once server is in the LB rotation? Does it work 100%  of the time directly accessing the server's individually?

Yes, checked application logs. It access the servers individually. But as mentioned above some of the features like pdf generation and mails are still do not work. Please help.
Not complete solution as some of the features are still not working when both servers are added.
