I have a form [F24_FichaRecTotal] and want to add anew record to its record source. Thus I did put a buttn (add record) using the standar add record macr.
Howerver it does not work; no record are added and I cant understand why.
I am sending the database - unfortunately, some time ago I splitted the database and I don't know how to "unsplit", som I am also sending the back end data base

This is attached to a button in a FORM; it's nothing to to with a table.

now I am rrally confused; sure I have a button in a FORM, and what I want is to create a new record in a scecific table. In this case, T13_FichaDoc, where some fields are calculated and the others are inputted.
(actually, I do want to inser new records in a set of tables; this is just the first baby step)
So, normally I waoul open the table and inser new record, no?
Shoul I use other methods like forget macros and hardcode everything?

Are you saying you want to insert a new record into a different table to the one the form is bound to?
The form is bound to the table T13_FichaDoc; if you want to add records to that table, into the 3 fields that are on the form, then you enter the values into the new record on the form.

yeap! you are right. It works no and this is the master record
Still have the problem of opening another tablest and inser new records there but I think that we need to close the case and then you get the points

Then I have inserted, on the Macro, at its start, the "Opant Table" command, but it opens the table in datasheet mode and does not add thr record anyway
I am rrlly scratching my head
