Adobe Acrobat PDF problem

Hi Experts,

I have a batch of Illustrator files that i wish to turn into PDF's however we need to lock the images etc so as they cannot be edited. Acrobat Pro is quite happy to do this so no problem there.

The problem is when Acrobat Pro produces the final PDF its looks great on the screen etc, but when we go to print the colours are out by a long way.

Are you sure that it is the software that is the problem and not the printer?

It could be the setting that are different on the printer to that on the Adobe software.

That AI file prints correctly, so i would imagine that its the conversion process thats causing the issue?

Try saving it as a word doc. And then printing it from Word.

That will tell us if it is a software or hardware problem

Exported as a JPEG and copied to a Word Doc, although the quality was not great it did produce the correct colours.

Ok, so we know that the problem is on Adobe now.

Open Adobe and go to the print menu. Look around their for properties or settings that say something along the lines of "quality". make sure it is not set to "draft", but to "best". then try re-printing it. also loo around in the Adobe print settings and make sure all settings are set to "best" or a similar wording...

Try that and let me know.
