How to correct the following error "The requested content appears to be script " when publishing wcf service in windows 7?

HTTP Error 404.17 - Not Found
The requested content appears to be script and will not be served by the static file handler.

I get the above error when viewed my wcf page in browser. my application is 64 bit. I am running it on windows 7.
I changed my application pool to .net classic app pool. But my web appilcation is not working. then I reverted to default web site. WCF service is located inside in my web application.

    Accepted Solution

    You will need to run ServiceModelReg.exe -i from the “%windir%\Microsoft.NET\Framework\v3.0\Windows Communication Foundation” directory to register the script maps
