Calendar Sync issue after Blackberry Enterprise Server upgrade

Hi,

I recently upgraded to 4.1 SP4, everything works fine but 1 user is having issues is syncing his calendar entries, when he adds a new entry is in blackberry it does not appear in outlook and when he deletes an email from outlook, it does not get deleted from his blackberry.

Can someone please let me know how to resolve this issue, i have check the CDO.dll and now both files have the same version number in Exchange and BES, i have given full control to the Besadmin user on the exchange server but this has not resolved the issue.

Thanks.

If everyone except this user is having a problem, it could be a couple of issues.

First, make sure that the user is inheriting permissions in Active Directory and that the inheritance isn't broken further up the chain.

Second, make sure the user isn't a member of one of the 'restricted' accounts, ie. Domain/Enterprise/Schema Admins.

Third, check that 'Wireless Reconciliation' is enabled. Go into the Calendar on the BB, click the BB menu key and choose Options. Select the 'Desktop' calendar and ensure 'Wireless Synchronisation' is ticked.

If all of this checks out, get the BlackBerry back in, wipe it, delete the user from the BES and remove BlackBerry information from the mailbox when prompted, then set up the user from scratch and see if the problem persists.

Mike, only 1 user is having this issue, all the other users are fine and everything is working for all the other users.
Sorry, meant to say 'If everyone except this user IS FINE' rather than having a problem. :-)
Mike,

now all the users are having the same issue, anything added in Blackberry is not coming in outlook, i have cehcked everything and seems fine.

CDo.dll is same as exchange server, pelase help.
I can see the following warning in the application logs

(abdullah.jamali@bournefinancial.com) synchronise fail() failed: err_fail, tag=2111179
Try removing a user from the BES and removing their BlackBerry info from their mailbox (when prompted). Add them again, activate them and test again. It is probably corrupt BB info in their mailbox now.
It is happeing with all the users.
I know. You may need to do this with all users. Test with one first though.
I also found that Mapi32.dll in blackberry has a different version number when compared to the exchange server. CDO.dll is the same on both servers, do i have to make Mapi32.dll same as well?

If yes, then how can I do it?
Deleted and re-activiated 1 users, but the problem is still there
Which verion of Exchange are you using please?
Exchange 2003
I have noticed after the installation of SP4, on the BES all the services are logging in as administrator, where as we have an acount besadmin that was accoutn for all the blackberry services aprt from attachment, mobile data, tomcat and instant mesasging connector.

Can this effect and should i change the services to logon as the besadmin account?
