iam not able to access windows network, new to fedora. pls help.

    Will work for Redhat, Fedora and Centos.

    You may create a mount folder like: /mnt/win_share

    Now depend on the Fedora version use-
    mount -t cifs -o username=user[,uid=500,gid=500] //machine/share_path] /mnt/win_share  (from Fedora 12)
    or mount -t smbfs -o username=user[,uid=500,gid=500] //machine/share_path] /mnt/win_share
