How to replace an arraylist slot with with a new value

I have an arraylist slot of size 6 in my 3rd slot I have marked "N/A" I want to be able to replace this N/A with a new value how can I do this?

    Go to immediate window and run the following

    arrayName(2) = "New Value"

    ok hers a stupid question how can I compare so that I can go into the loop

    If arrayname = ("N/A") then
    arrayName(2) = "New Value"
    end if

    Is this right? it give me errors
