Quickbooks will not open

I have a user who has had quickbooks for years.   They have two computers in office one is the host the other the guest on quickbooks.  For years the guest could go onto quickbooks as long as the host computer was just booted up.  BUt they just updated to Quickbooks 2011 and now when the guest wants to go into quickbooks, not only does the host computer have to be on, but the host also needs to be logged into quickbooks also.   Any ideas how to get it back to the Host computer just needs to be booted up?

You would need to reinstall the quick books on the host computer to be a server system only!

The other way is to log in to quick books on the host computer as you have done, open the file, at this time log in with the client pc, and finally close quick books on the host pc.  this should allow the client PC to log on at any time as log as the host pc has not been rebooted.
