Broken trust on virtual Exchange server

This seems to be something that I run into a lot on virtual machines that have been offline or a while.

The trust gets broken and I can't log in.

Usually, the solution is to remove the server from the domain, delete remnants from AD and rejoin it.  But I'm not sure about the consequences for a exchange server.

Is their anything to worry about when doing this with exchange or is their another way to repair broken trusts in exchange without performing this?

depends on the version of your exchange server.

i know exchange 2007 can recover the exchange again (setup /recover) after you unjoin from domain. and rejoin them
make sure you do not delete the component from Ad but just reset the account..

But again, i have no fate on what's going on as this really going to be hard call.

i need some time have a look around to see any good article for this.
