Unable to select drive c in imagex

I am pretty sure the reference machine is been sysprepped correctly. I navigate to the sysprep directory and select oobe, generalize and shutdown.

When booting to the capture image and wds/imagex takes over, I dont have the option to select the c drive. Only the d drive.

Any suggestions?

Many thanks,

tobe

Sorry to ask (because I'm sure you probably already checked), but has the partition in question been assigned drive letter C and has it been marked as active?

After booting to capture the image, drive C: changes its letter, it could be D or E, you have to find it out.

So dive d is actually drive c?

In diskmanagement only drive c appears.

If you see the usual folders as WINDOWS, Program Files, etc. yes, it is.

Yes. When I select the d drive to store the wim file in case there is a "network malfuction", the program files and users are there.
